Question/answer » How does direct debit work and how do I withdraw the mandate?

When you take out a Plus subscription, you choose how to pay. You pay in one go, or you give permission for direct debit. With direct debit, the subscription fee is taken from your bank account every year. Your subscription then simply continues. You do not have to think about it.

How does it work?

  • You give a mandate once. You do this when you pay.
  • A few weeks before the next debit, you get an e-mail. It states the amount and the date.
  • Do you not want to renew? Then withdraw the mandate before that date.

How to withdraw the mandate

  1. Log in and go to your profile.
  2. Click Mandate. You can see which mandate there is.
  3. Click Withdraw mandate.

After that, nothing more is debited. Your Plus subscription continues until the end date. After that, it becomes a free Trial subscription.

Good to know

A Plus subscription is a yearly subscription. Cancelling during the year does not give you a refund. Did something go wrong with a debit after all? Then contact us via the contact form.
