met sijn peerden
wil gedaen hebben
die sullen nergens
naer soo veel gelden
den grooten onger is dempich, ende se
eeten sich hier gansch op

Vermits ick tot twee mael naer Gorcum
heb moeten reijsen, soo om mijn Regiment
in postuur te brengen, als dat sijn Hoocheijt
daer oock revue heeft gedaen, hebbe ick
eenige daegen aen den anderen belet
geweest mij de eere te geven aen U.H.Ed
te kunnen schrijven, inmiddels hebbe
ick ontfangen U.H.Ed. twee distinckte mis-
siven, ende dewijl hij bij sijne laeste gelieft
goet te vinden, ick voor als noch superce-
deren sal, sijn Hoocheijt voor de bewuste
compnie te gaen bedancken, soo sal ick
daer met wachten tot dat U.H.Ed: naer-
der ordres krijge, den Sergant daer
van ick had geschreven heeft sich
