the, protestion of Great Britain.
These Colonies may be assured Schale
take every means in my porver to maantaim
„their Laus, protest Hheer Property and prevent
theer being retaken bi the Enemy, andstrust
the conduit of 1½e oficers and men soldiers
„who will te left forthe Garnoon will te suit
as to merit the perfeet Esteem and confiderce
of the Inhabitants.
Lieut=s Colonel Nicholoon arho is the
Offvcer 'T propose to lave in Demerary and Essequi
„asthe Lieuterant Governor wills trust be here
„shoolly; — S have little or nadoubt but Yon
„will find hin the soldier and the Gertleman
„and well calcilated for so important a Charge
