Maandag den 30: Maart 1712:
den 10: Courant ontvangen: uw Excellentie
antwoord niets zakelijks op mijne har
„telijke en nadrukkelijken brief van
den 28. September I:o leeden; als ik
zulks confronteere met die kragtige
beloften bij uw Excellenties voorige
brieven, dan weete ik niet, wat ik van
uw Excellentie of van die beloften denken
moet, ten minsten zal ik mijne gedagten
en maatregulen derweegens als
nog wat opschorten tot de komste
van uw Excellenties zendelingen, die
ik eerstdaags verwagte, temeer wij nu
al de helft van de maand Maart
hebben. -
Ook hebbe gesien wat uw Excellentie
aan Loka Rajij schrijft het geen ook
al vrij wat speculatief is; ik hebbe
uw Excellentie eens en andermaal door
„poka Rajij speciaal laten vragen, na
de prijs van de Rijst en Cardamomn
die van uw Excellentie hier legt, en nu
schrijft
