this Indenture made the 15 — day of Jul
in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred or
fiftij nine Between Cornelia Craiesteijn widow of
cob van der Graas late of Haarlem in Holland Merck
deceased Matthijs Hoofman van Diepenbroek of Haare
aforesaid Merchant and Marij his wife and Albertus
Hodshon the Ijounger of Haarlem aforesaid Merche
and Catharina his wife of the one part, and John Edw. a
of the old Newrij London Esquire of the other part, when
Francis Craresteyn late of London Esquire deceased
made and preblished his last will and Testament beard
date the Twentij seventh day of Iune one thousand ses
hundred and fiftij five attested by three Credible witnes
and there bij Camongst other things) gave and devis„
all and everij his Messuages, Lands, Tenements, Herel
taments and Real Estate whatsoever, with their
appuntenances unto the said John Eduards, and
William Isaac Kops of London Merchant and James
Mathias of London Merchant, and to their hoirs au
assigns for Ever upontrust to sell and disposé of the
same absolutelij in Tee simple as soon is convenien

might be, after his decease ^ the Testator declaered hu
will and mind to be, that the moneij to advise bij sale
his Real Estate, and the Rents Issues and profits the
of, in the me an time, and untill such sale should be
added to his personal Estate and go and be taken as
part there of; and (after diverse pecuneary and specific
legacies (herein particularlij mentioned:) the said Sesto
ordered and directed, that the Residue of his persona
Estate should be place'd forth or continue dat Inter¬
during the minoritij of the said Catharine now the 17
of the said Albertus Hodshon, then Catherine van de
Graas Spinster, and untill she should attain her age
of Twentij one Ijaars and when and as soon as the said
Cathermeshould have attained her age of twenty one Y
the said Testator further willed ordered and directed
that the aforesaid Residue of his Estate to gether, with
the Interest and Improvement, to be made thereof, in
the mean time should be dividend into three egual parts or
shares and he gave and bequcathed one egual third part or
shall have there of, unto the said Cornelia Cracesteijn then with
of the said Iacob van der Graas, and he gave and bequeathed
an other third part or share there of, to the said Marij
Hoofman van Diepenbroek wite of the said Matthijs Hoof
man van Diepenbroek; and he gave and bequeathed the
remaining third part there of, unto the said Catharine
Hodshon then Catherina van der Gtaas and of his will
the said Testator appointed the said John Eduards Willi„
am Isaac Kops and James Matthias Executors and the
said William Isaac Kops and James Mathias shortlij after
the death of the said Testator. dulij proved his said will
in the prerogative Court of the province of the arch bish op
of Canterburij; and toch upon them selves the burthen
of the Excution there of, the said John Edwards declining
to prove the said Will; and wholly refusing to act in the
said Executorship, or in anij of the recipesor paijments
conching the said Testators Reall or personall Estates,
and whercas the said Catharine van der Graas, one
of the aforesaid Residuarij Legatees hath now attainco
herage of Twenty one Ijaars and hath lately intermar,
ried with the said Albertus Hodshon; And Whercas
the Reall Estates of the said Testator Francis Craiesteijn
of which he died Seized or to which he was anyways
intitled at the time of his death consisted of certain
mille, called Enfield mills and diverse lands scituate
in the parishes of Enfield and Edmonton, in the Courtij
of Midlesex, of the yearlij value of one hundred and
thirtij pounds and ten shillings or there abouts, and of
several Frechold Houses in the City of London (that is to
saij) one messuage or Tenement Scituate in Laurence
pourtrey Lane late in the occupation of Frederick van
der Meulen at the ijearly Rent of Fiftij pounds, but
