Know all men by these presents
that I Mr: Jan Dutrij of Haarlem Gentleman
here bij authorise and impower Mr: John
Dutrij Cornelis of London merchant to ask
demand and receive of and from the
accomptant of the South Sea Company, or
whom Else it maij Concern, Six pounds per Cent
Principall moneij on the sum of two thousand
pounds being all the Capitall stock standing
in mij name in the Books of the said
Comparij on the 24th of Junij last and
to give Lawfull recept accquitance or
discharge for the same which Jack now ledge
to be in discharge and annihilation
of so much of my said stock from that
daij in witness whereof I have here unto
sett mij hand & seall at Haarlem aforesd.
