The Governor of Macassar at Castle Rotterdam reported on May 30, 1727 about a potential succession plan. The Queen of Boni might have wanted to make Carain Limpangan, the second son of the King of Goa, the next King of Boni, either through inheritance or succession from her husband Aroe Kaijoe.
On February 17, 1727, after reviewing decisions from the 8th, 11th, and 15th of February, the Governor informed the council that:
- The King and Queen of Boni had left without saying goodbye, citing illness as an excuse
- They traveled to Padang Soreang, approximately 25 miles north of the castle
- They were accompanied by:
- The King of Sandraboni (also known as Carain Mamanpang)
- Carain Zimpangan, the second son of the King of Goa
- Several Goa nobles: Carain Grassi, Crain Bandjoe, and Dain Matoelong
