1471 Know all men by these Presents thas Mattheus Popel of Amsterdam Gentleman do make Constitute and appoint Mess Henry Huitman, Peter Muilman and Richard Muilman of London merchants Jointly or separately mij true and lawfull attorneys for me in mi name and on mij behalf to Contract fo accept and receive all such Intrest or share in the Capital or Joint stock of Three per Cent annuities Erected b an act of parliament of the Twent Fifth year of the reign of his majesty King George the second intithed an act for Converting the several annus ties therein mentioned into several and by an act of the somt stocks of annucties transfer 28th. the 29th. the Rt rable at the bank of England to te the 32 and the 33 fsharged on the sinking fund ^ whier George the second and might or shall hereafter be trans the first of George ferred to me and to receeve and give receipts for all devidents now the there due and that here after shall groi due and payable on any my said annucties for the time being. tate bying and Confirming all that my said attorneys or either of them shall do thezei by virtue hereof.
