On Wednesday, 17 October Robert de Hartog wrote
Hugo Hubert de Hartog was my paternal grandfather. Else Buxbaum was my paternal grandmother. Hugo died December 22,1948 in his ex-address ( 55 Avenue Concordia was stolen by the Nazis) . Else Buxbaum- de Hartog was murdered in Auchwitz on October 30, 1944. My father Robert H de Hartog was a Dutch soldier who escaped surrender May 15,1940 and became an RAF pilot. My aunt Margot H de Hartog ( Westerbork/Theresienstadt) lives today in New York City.
