On Thursday, 13 September Karl Meyers wrote

I believe that their daughter Maria Catherina Lemmens married my Great Grand father Jonnes (Johann) Gerardus (Gerhard) Meyers in 1873. If this is correct, which I believe that it is - then I come from both German and Dutch descent. But the question remains is how did my Great Grandparents meet? Any confirmation would be helpful.
