My father was the younger son, Joan Cato Bentz van den Berg. He was born April 17,1903 and died of a heart attack on Sept. 30, 1963, age 60 years. He was married to Cornelie Josephine Nagtglas (Nov.12,1904-June (21?),1979). They had two daughters, Helga and Frieda. His father,Joan Cato Bentz van den Berg, died at age 57, (1922?) also from heart problems. My Oma Do, his wife, lived until age 88 or 89, died around 1968, I believe. She ended her days at the Rusthuis, den Lichtenberg, somewhere near Utrecht. My father had two siblings, Johanna (Hannie) who died fairly young of a brain aneurism, and Peter Rudolph, (Ruud) who had an administrative position at the Hoogovens, in Velsen. Oom Ruud outlived his mother and siblings but I am not sure of the date. He had three children, Joan Cato, Ingeborg, and Else (m. Hans Meyers). His son, Joan Cato lll had three children also, I believe. I have the geneologie that my father had of the family going pretty far back.
