On Tuesday, 21 March Sri Margana wrote

Jan Francen together with Jan Bervelt was the envoy of the VOC send to the King of Blambangan in the eastern tip of Java in 1691. The main mission was to discuss the offer of the king of Blambangan in fighting the Dutch main enemy in east Java, Surapati. He wrote a long account of his expedition to Blambangan. The original account is kept in the National Archive of Indonesia
