Question/answer » How do I save records I have found?

A record you want to keep, you make a favourite. That way you keep track of your finds. You need a free account for this.

How it works

  1. Open the record and click Add to favorites.
  2. Go to My Open Archives › Favorite documents. All your saved records are there.

Organising

  • Give a record one or more tags. For example the name of a family branch or "still to check".
  • Write a note on a record.
  • Filter the list by tag, place or source type.

Downloading

With a Plus subscription you download all your favourites in one go as a PDF or as a GEDCOM file. You import the latter into your family tree program.
