Below a record is the block Related documents. There, Open Archives automatically searches for other records and information about the same persons. You do not have to search yourself.

What is searched for?

• Other records with the same persons. For example: for a marriage record, the birth records of the bride and groom and the birth records of their children.
• Family trees on Genealogy Online in which these persons appear.
• Information about the place, the profession or the source type.

Only when you are logged in

This automatic search takes computing power. That is why Open Archives only does this for logged-in users. An account is free.

One step further

With a Plus subscription you let Open Archives search for the parents, grandparents and further ancestors from one record. The result is a pedigree. Searching for children can also be done automatically.
