Every publication on Genealogy Online has a page with statistics. You will find the link on the home page of your publication. And in Publication management under Statistics.

What is on it?

• Numbers: persons, families, sources, images, places and notes.
• Top 10: the most common surnames, occupations and first names of men and women.
• Distribution on the map: where the events in your family tree took place. Click a place to see the persons.
• Events per period: a chart with births, marriages and deaths per five years.
• Surname cloud: the surnames in your family tree, where large names occur more often.

You can filter the map and the chart by type of event and by period.

What is this good for?

The statistics show where the focus of your research lies. And where there are still gaps. Visitors see at a glance what your family tree is about.
