Many families have victims of the Second World War. On Genealogy Online you can mark these persons as war victims. Their page then gets a reference to memorial websites. And they are included in the overview WW2 victims, with tens of thousands of names from all publications.

Suggestions from Genealogy Online

Genealogy Online compares your family tree with well-known lists. For example the Dutch Roll of Honour (Erelijst van Gevallenen), the Jewish Monument and the Netherlands War Graves Foundation. Is a person from your family tree probably listed there? Then you get a suggestion.

1. Log in and go to Publication management.
2. Choose your publication and click WW2 victims.
3. Look at each suggestion. Is it right? Then confirm. Is it wrong? Then reject the suggestion.

Marking a person yourself

Has Genealogy Online missed someone? On the same page you can mark a person from your publication as a war victim yourself.

What does the visitor see?

The page of the person states that he or she was a victim of the Second World War. Where possible, there is a link to more information, for example at the Netherlands War Graves Foundation or the Jewish Monument.
