Question/answer » How do I change the title and description of my publication?

You can change the title and the description of your publication yourself. This is how:

1. Log in and go to Publication management.
2. Choose your publication and click Edit publication.
3. Change the title and the description. You can do this per language: Dutch, English, German and French.
4. Save.

A good description helps visitors. Say briefly which family or region your publication is about. And which period you have researched.

Can I change the web address?

The web address of your publication is created when you make the publication. It is based on the title. For example: genealogieonline.nl/stamboom-jansen/. This address stays the same afterwards, even if you change the title. This way, links from other people to your publication keep working.
