The open data consists of the metadata of 1,974,291 historical documents from Regional Historic Centre Eindhoven, containing 6,421,258 historical personal references. The pie chart shows the number of person entries per source type.
How can the dataset be downloaded?
Harvesting (A2A/XML)
The Regional Historic Centre Eindhoven historical document metadata dataset is provided as an OAI-PMH metadata feed. This feed is an implementation of an OAI-PMH data provider, based on OAI-PMH 2.0. The metadata is structured according to the Archives 2 All (A2A) model.

- DownloadFile with data of source type Marriages. This file with 108,194 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 76 MB (uncompressed) / 12 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Deaths. This file with 400,979 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 251 MB (uncompressed) / 33 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Funerals . This file with 259,111 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 173 MB (uncompressed) / 19 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Baptisms. This file with 358,761 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 252 MB (uncompressed) / 38 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Marriages (church). This file with 141,606 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 99 MB (uncompressed) / 13 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Notarial archives. This file with 65,283 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 184 MB (uncompressed) / 11 MB (compressed).
