The open data consists of the metadata of 585,877 historical documents from RHC Rijnstreek en Lopikerwaard, containing 1,879,809 historical personal references. The pie chart shows the number of person entries per source type.
How can the dataset be downloaded?
Harvesting (A2A/XML)
The RHC Rijnstreek en Lopikerwaard historical document metadata dataset is provided as an OAI-PMH metadata feed. This feed is an implementation of an OAI-PMH data provider, based on OAI-PMH 2.0. The metadata is structured according to the Archives 2 All (A2A) model.

The dataset can be downloaded in parts in CSV format as a compressed file (.csv.gz):
- DownloadFile with data of source type Births. This file with 141,279 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 79 MB (uncompressed) / 12 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Marriages. This file with 36,241 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 28 MB (uncompressed) / 5 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Deaths. This file with 127,635 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 82 MB (uncompressed) / 12 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Funerals . This file with 101,414 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 64 MB (uncompressed) / 7 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Baptisms. This file with 110,965 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 64 MB (uncompressed) / 10 MB (compressed).
- DownloadFile with data of source type Notarial archives. This file with 68,343 lines was created on January 17, 2024, the file size is 172 MB (uncompressed) / 14 MB (compressed).
