Benignus was married with my grandmother Antoinette Wauters. Couple lived in the village Koewacht (near Stekene). My mother, the youngest, told me - we were 11 i believe. The oldest sister, Romanie (Romme as my mother said), was married with ....De Block. They emigrated to Canada with children Peter and John - one had a burned hand after accident with boiling water. During 1st world war, the whole family was obliged by germans to move, after Benonymus (Benoit) was shot by german soldiers while crossing the border with Holland. Antoinette and children moved to 9160 Lokeren. Years ago i had contact with descendants of Peter or John but after computer crash i lost everything and since then no further news/contact. Nieces/nephews of the family are living in Kentucky - USA, Claire and Jacqueline De Block emigrated after making.....to much fun with american soldiers at the end of WW2. After WW2 the american soldier came back and both sister left Belgium. I have known very well their father René and mother Marta Vlaemynck.
After death of Rene mother Martha emigrated to the States - since then no further news.
