Hercules Huncx [Hunckes] (1601-1677) knighted 1662, died at Lisburn in Ireland. Married (1) in the Netherlands Elizabeth (? Boudeloot) secondly in London Frances Blundell widow of Christopher Phillipson. Sir Hercules Hunckes was 5 surviving son of Sir Thomas Hunckes Captain of Foot under Sir John Ogle with Vere at siege of Ostend. Mary Hunckes, daughter of Sir Thomas and sibling of Hercules was stepmother to Rev. Richard Baxter(1615-1691)
