1722 before me William Baart, Notarij and
tabellion Publick, dwelling in haarlem bij
the noble Court of holland admitted and
sworn and in the presence of the witnesses
here after name personallij appeared Mr:
William Rops of haerlem & merchant
who Declaered to have Authorised & Impewered
& bij these presents doth Authorise & Impower
Mr: Fermijn van Sleet of Londen Merchand
to sell assign and Transferr unto and Person
or Persons whatsoever all or Anij part of the
stock he the said Constituand now hath or
here after shall have in his the said Consti¬
tuants name of and in the Capitael or
Principal stock of the United Company of
Merchants of Areat Breitain Prading to
the last Indies and to Receive all sub¬
devidends as are or shall become due on
the shame and for him tho said Constituant
and in his name or otherwise to make
sign and give Good and sufficient receipts
acquittances and discharges for such Conside¬
ration monies and devidends also for
him the said Constituant & in his name
to buy and Parchase all such stock of and in
the said Company as his said Attorney

accept for him the said Constituant all
