K. now all men by these presents, that I Leonard Hoeufft
Haarlem Esq.re, as being in a Joint account with Jan Die
rik Pauw, Bern Hoeuffl van Buttingen of Haarlem Es
being presentlij to la Rochette bij Neufchatel at Swiss
lande
do make, constitute and appoint M:rs Samuel Teugh John Ada
Hecker and John Henrij Hecker of London Merchant
Jointlij or Separatelij, mij
true and lawfull attorney or attorneij for me in mij
name and on mij behalf, to sell, assign and transferr, as
or anij part of Thirtij Six Pounds, Fourteen Schillings and
Cleven Pences, being part of the Interest or share in the Joint Stock
of three percent Annuities, erected bij an Act of Parliament of the
25th. IJear of the Reign of King George II intitled, An act for concer
ting the Severall Annuities therein mentioned, into Severall Joint
Stocks of Annuities, transferable at the Bank of England, to be
charged on the snking fund, and bij Severall Subsequent Acts to go
„ther with the propertional Annuitij of £ 3„ per Cent per annum at
ding the same, now standing in the Joint names of the said Jan Die
rik Pauw Born Hoeufft van Buttingen and of me Leonard Hoeúffe
of Haarlem Esqres., And to receive the Consideration Moneij and go
ceipt or receipts for the same.
Also to receive and giveReceipts for the Dividends, due and
to grow due thereon, still the Transferr thereof, and to do all
lawfull Acts, requisite for effecting the Premises, hereby ratifying
and confirming, all that mij said Attorneijs or either of them
shall do therein by virtue hereof. In Witness whereof I have
hereunto sett mij Hand and seal in Haarlem aforesaid, the
3.n day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand
Sevenhundred and eightij might mine.
