do make, constitute and appoint M:rs Edward Copie and Daniel
Meilan, of London Merchants, Jointlij or Separatelij, mi„
true and lawfull attorneijser attorney for me in my
name and on mij behalf, to sallign and transferr, all
or anij part of five thousand one hundred and fiftij Pounds
being all the Interest or share, in the Principal Stock
and troper tienal part of the fund of the United Compari¬
of Merchants, trading to the last Indies, now standing in
mijname.
and to receive the consideration Moneij and give a receip
or receipts for the same.
Also to receive and give receipts for the Dividends, due and
to grow due thereon, still the Twansseur thereof, and to do all
lawfull Acts, requisite for effecting the Premises, hereby ratifying
and confirming, all that mij said Attorneijs or either of them
shall do therein by virtue hereof. In Witness whereof I have
hereunto sett mij Hand and seal in Haarlem aforesaid, the
10=th day of Januarij in the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and eightij eight
