Know all men by these presents that I
Christoffel Ian van Dam of Haarlem genateman, de make
constitute and appoint m:r Samuel Hoare John Harman
and Jeremial Harman, of London Merchants jointlij or Separa
mij true and lawfull attorneijs or attorney for me in my name
and on mij behalf to accept all Transferes that are or maij
be maden to me of anij Interest or share, in the capital stock
and Funds of the Governor and Company of the Bank of Eng
and to receive and give receipts for all dividends that an
now due and that maij grow due on mij said stock, or anijp
thereof for the time being and to do all lawfull acts requisit
for effecting the premisses; herebij ratifijing and Confirming
all that mij said Attorneijs or either of them shall do hand
by virtue hereof, In witnes whereof, I have hereunto sett
hand and seal in Haarlem the 12th. day of Januarij in t
Iear of our Lord one thousand, Seven hundred and Seventij
