Jan Coxon gebracht om naar Lissabon vervoerd te worden. Dit schip is op 7 juli lek geslagen, wat de kapitein pas 13 juli ontdekte, zodat de tarwe zes dagen nat heeft gelegen en weer gelost moest worden. Bij inspectie in de A'dam bleek een groot deel van de tarwe door broei aangetast te zijn. Het is een paar keer per dag gekeerd en naar de mouterij Het Potasvat gebracht om te drogen. 19 okt. is men begonnen de tarwe uit de mouterij te dragen en in lichters te storten en naar het schip van Coxon te brengen, die maar 61 lasten wilde vervoeren om makkelijker over Pampus te komen.
