Volgens de gescande huwelijksakte is de bruidegom geboren in "Putte, Royaume d'hollande". Uit de overgelegde doopakte in de huwelijksbijlagen blijkt dat hiermee het dorp Putte op de Nederlands-Belgische grens wordt bedoeld (provincies Noord-Brabant en Antwerpen). En dus niet Putten, Gelderland.
