April 7 is alhier met eenparigheid van stemmen door de eerw. kerkenraad van Wittewierum tot diacon deser gemeente verkoren de e. Geert Everts (obiit) lidmaat deser gemeente woonagtig in 't schathuis op Tuinga en na dat de selve tot drie verscheidene reisen aan de gemeente opentlijk van den predikstoel is voorgestelt sonder dat er verhindering is tusschen of ingekomen zo is opgemelte Geerts Everts in die kerkelijke bedieninge bevestigt op sondag d. 11 maij 1760 in plaats van de afgaande diacon de e. Roelef Harms bakker in Ten Post, die uit naam van den kerkenraad door den predikant vrindelijk bedankt voor zijn gedane dienst en verders beide zegen toegewenscht.
