The NAARSTIGHEID departed from Bengal twelve days late (see 7498 and 7499). In June 1757 the ship reached Delagoa Bay in a very tumbledown conditon; on 01-07-1757 the NAARSTIGHEID was finally given up and set on fire. Its cargo was transported to the Cap
