This person, Adolf H Verkuyl, is my Grandfather. Growing up he would speak of his time as a Prisoner of War, how he participated in the famed building of the Bridge at the River Kwai. I have his book, which he made corrections in the margins as to slight errors the author had made.
Although you offer the data contained in this POW document for one's family tree, is it possible to get a scanned color image of it? My son, who is a United States Marine, would like to have the actual image of his Great-Grandfather, to frame, next to his Royal Dutch Calvary picture.
