Whilst still in the service of the VOC, Hendrik Stoeder married Anna Barbara Kap, daughter of Ernst Philipp Kap (from Seebach, Germany), on 30 October 1791 in the Cape, South Africa. They had 3 sons and 2 daughters and Hendrik Stoeder passed away ca. 1804 in Swellendam, South Africa. I am a decendant of their second child and eldest son, Johannes Hendrik Stoeder.
