Is dit een zoon of kleinzoon van de organist/componist Cornelis Boscoop, die vermoedelijk korte tijd (juni - oktober) de leermeester is geweest van de toen 11-jarige Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck te Amsterdam in 1573 ?
