Transcriptie: Brengen Slot en Akkerman vanaf de spoorbrug a/d Zijl (stadspolder) aan het bureau Jacobus Martinus Bax, geboren te Alkemade, 22 november 1899, schipper, wonende Alkemade D107. Bax lag met zijn schuit gemeerd aan de wal. Op de wal stond aan een hekje vastgebonden een koe. Bax die schipper van beroep is en gerechtigd is desnachts te varen, verklaarde dat hij die koe hedenavond te ± 22 uur t.v. had geladen aan de Ringvaart (balgeijen) gemeente Haarlemmermeer op verzoek van een zekere van den Berg. Die van den Berg zou hedenavond ± 23.30 uur de koe bij de Zijlbrug weer in ontvangst hebben genomen, doch was tot nog toe niet verschenen. Daar het niet onmogelijk is dat de koe van diefstal afkomstig is, is de koe geschut bij Dieten en Bax in arrest gesteld. Ook is het niet onmogelijk dat de koe bestemd was om fraudeleus geslacht te worden. De koe is een zwart bonte wit kop, 3 à 4 jaar oud. Bax is geplaatst in het lokaal mannen nachtverblijf.
