Betrokkene is een der inschrijvers en borg. Pieter Antes, rentenier en Adriaan Resemans, bouwman, beiden alhier woonachtig, zijn dijkgraven van de polder van Hintelaken, alhier. Zij geven te kennen voornemens te zijn over te gaan tot de publieke aanbesteding van een te maken nieuwe sluis met de leverantie van de daartoe benodigde materialen overeenkomstig het bestek en de condities. Het betreft het uitbreiden van een houten sluisje, gelegen aan de zuidzijde van de rivier de Mark nabij het zogenaamde "Ijzeren Hek" en tevens de bouw van een stenen sluisje met de leverantie van de daartoe vereiste materialen. Het bestek en de geldende condities worden uitgebreid in de akte omschreven en voor nadere informatie daaromtrent wordt hiernaar verwezen. Het project is aanbesteed aan Cornelis Lauwers, metselaar, alhier woonachtig, voor zijn bod van f. 540,--. Borgen zijn Arnoldus Koenraads, timmerman, wonende op de Leur en Johannes Baptist Michel, timmerman, alhier woonachtig. Getuigen zijn Marijnus Gommers, bouwman en Cornelis van Beek, herbergier, beiden alhier woonachtig.
