Cornelia de Jong, gehuwd met Jan Cornelis Roovers, herbergier, wonende op den Emer, alhier, wil en begeert dat haar echtgenoot het vruchtgebruik zal hebben van haar gehele nalatenschap als er bij haar overlijden geen tijdens het huwelijk verwekte kinderen in leven zijn. Is dat wel het geval, dan geniet hij het vruchtgebruik van de helft van haar nalatenschap. Zijn er geen tijdens het huwelijk verwekte kinderen bij het overlijden van haar echtgenoot nog in leven, dan benoemt zij tot haar erfgenamen haar naaste vrienden en bloedverwanten, niet hoofds maar staaksgewijs. Haar nalatenschap bestaat dan uit de helft van de gemeenschappelijke boedel. Getuigen zijn Hendrik van Raak, winkelier, Jan Lodders, mr. kleermaker, Wouter Kooremans, mr. schoenmaker en Mattheus Muyshout, mr. schoenmaker, allen alhier woonachtig.
