Betrokkene is toeziend voogd over de minderjarige kinderen van comparant en tevens heeft hij een vordering van 600 gulden op hem. Jan Talboom, bouwman, wonende in Vugtschoot alhier, verzoekt om een behoorlijke staat en inventaris te formeren van alle roerende en onroerende goederen, nagelaten door wijlen zijn echtgenote, Johanna Wouters, overleden alhier in september 1814. Een en ander vindt te zijnen huize plaats en dient om de legitieme portie te bewijzen aan zijn 2 minderjarige kinderen Cornelis en Francus Talboom, van wie hij de voogd is en de toeziend voogd is Adriaan Frans Wouters, hovenier, wonende alhier, hiertoe benoemd door de familieraad gehouden voor de Vrederechter van het Kanton Breda d.d. 2 juni 1818. De totale boedel wordt getaxeerd op 2313 gulden en 74 cent. Een drietal vorderingen wordt door Rendant van Staat als twijfelachtig omschreven en deze zijn in de berekening van de boedel dan ook niet meegenomen. Comparant heeft ook nog enkele schulden (o.a. een vordering van 600 gulden aan Adriaan Frans Wouters) van totaal 783 gulden en 60 cent, waardoor de waarde van de boedel uiteindelijk wordt getaxeerd op 1530 gulden en 14 cent. Getuigen zijn Hendrik van Raak, winkelier en Cornelis van der Burgt, zadelmaker, beiden alhier woonachtig.
