"Madame Barbe Pauline Van Keerbergen veuve de Monsieur Adolphe Joseph Van Rossum, sans profession, domiciliée à Saint-Gilles, Rue de la Source numéro soixante trois, agissant tant en nom personnel qu'en sa qualité de mère et tutrice légale de son fils encore mineur Henri Georges Van Rossum 2° Mademoiselle Anne Georgine Catherine Van Rossum, sans profession, domiciliée à Saint-Gilles, Rue de la Source soixante-trois, ayant pour avoué Maître Bleser soussigné, Ont l'honneur de vous exposer que dans l'acte dressé le vingt-sept octobre mil huit cent soixante quatre par l'Officier de l'Etat civil de Bruxelles du mariage de la première exposante avec feu son dit mari le nom patronymique de famille de ce dernier a été orthographié Van Rossem. Que cette orthographe a été également employé dans les acte de naissance des enfants issus du mariage savoir celui de Anne Georgine Catherine dressé par l'Officier de l'Etat civil de Bruxelles le vingt juillet mil huit cent soixante-cinq et celui de Henri Georges, dressé par le même officier le vingt-deux avril mil huit cent soixante-huit. Que l'orthographe véritable du dit nom patronymique est Van Rossum, ainsi qu'il résulte des actes de l'Etat civil concernants les parents et grands-parents de feu Monsieur Adolphe Joseph Van Rossum; qu'il importe aux exposants de faire rectifier l'erreur dont s'agit." Het verzoek wordt ingewilligd en de rechtbank beveelt de verbetering en aanpassing van de naam in de betrokken aktes. Vonnis geregistreerd te Brussel op 24/05/1888.
