Appeared before me daniel van den Brink
notary Publick Sworne and Admitted by
the Court of Holland resideing in Amster
dam and in the presence of the witnesses
or steersman in the bay of Hondari
hereafter named John Fox late mate ^ en
Service of Capn. James Stupars Comman
dor of the schip Called the frindship being
at present within this City and did
hereby declare to have received from Mr.
James Martin, of this City in habitant
all such papers and documents as vere
in his hands about the affair between
him the sd. Appearor and thesd. James
stupart, and by virtue whereof the
Sd. Mr. James Marten hath Arrested
the said vessel wherefore he the said
appearor the sd. Mr. John Marten
doth hereby in full acquit and discharg
without any reserve, promising hin
to kiep free and harmless from all
demands whatsoever which him by
reason thereof could be made and
such under submission of hes per
son and goods according to the Laws
